Meet The Team

North Shore Technology Advisors is built on experience earned inside real organizations, not theoretical frameworks. Our team brings practical perspective from operating, leading, and advising across complex technology environments. We focus on judgment, clarity, and consequences because that is what decision makers actually need when the stakes are high.

Gerald Robbins is a technology advisor with more than two decades of experience operating inside complex, high-stakes technology environments where reliability, accountability, and long-term decisions matter. His background spans global service delivery, technical operations, customer support leadership, and large-scale program execution across enterprise, cloud, IoT, and emerging technology platforms.

Over the course of his career, Gerald has worked closely with executive leadership, engineering, product, vendors, and customers to support platforms that operate at global scale and under constant scrutiny. His experience includes overseeing end-to-end service delivery for mission-critical systems, managing incident and escalation response, guiding release and change governance, and aligning technical execution with business outcomes rather than promises.

Gerald has led and built multinational teams across North America, Europe, and APAC, supporting SaaS, PaaS, mainframe, and AI-enabled platforms in regulated and always-on environments. Through that work, he has seen firsthand how technology decisions made early often define years of operational cost, risk exposure, and organizational friction once implementation begins.

North Shore Technology Advisors was founded as a response to a recurring gap Gerald observed throughout his career. Too many organizations are asked to commit to platforms, vendors, architectures, or programs without an independent perspective focused on feasibility, risk, and long-term impact. Vendor confidence is high, timelines are compressed, and assumptions frequently go unchallenged until it is too late to reverse course.

Gerald’s advisory approach is grounded in practical experience rather than theoretical frameworks. He focuses on helping leaders slow down decision moments, validate what is actually being proposed, and understand the trade-offs they are accepting before momentum takes over. His role is not to sell technology, manage delivery, or replace internal teams, but to strengthen judgment and reduce avoidable risk at critical inflection points.

In addition to his professional work, Gerald is an active Mason and Shriner, supporting philanthropic efforts that benefit Shriners Children’s Hospitals. He believes strongly in service beyond the workplace and brings that same sense of responsibility, accountability, and empathy into his advisory work with clients.
